More Referrals, but not ours...
The CCAA has just updated their web site that they have sent out referrals for dossiers logged in from April 15 - 25th. So that includes 11 days only - the last batch was 14 days and the one before that was 17 days. While it's getting discouraging that they seem to be processing fewer days each time, we are acutually getting closer. Come on May 31...... Rumour has it that there will be another batch before Chinese New Year which starts on Jan. 29. I certainly don't expect we'll be included with that one, but perhaps the one after. Big Sigh.....

Happy New Year! I found your website through a link from the FOI site. Our documents have gone to China but we still don't have a LID, so we are miles behind you. I understand the agony of waiting, and pray that God will grant you His peace during this time.
I have a simple (and perhaps silly) question: How do you know which LIDs have been processed for referrals? I have looked all over the CCAA website and can't find this info.

Hi Sonya - I don't know if you'll see this but your comment doesn't let me respond to you, so I'll answer your question here. If you look on the CCAA's home page, you don't see the part that's on the far right, so you have to scroll over to see it. It's in a section titled "Documents Processing". Here's what it says as of today, Jan.2/05
"The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office in May 2005.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before April 25, 2005."

Thanks so much. I feel foolish for not finding it since it's on the front page! And I had searched through every one of the other links at the top of the page! Yesterday we found out our LID was November 23. Now this is starting to finally feel REAL!
