Travel plans are in place!
Wow - things are sure coming together fast now. Our flights are booked and we will be China bound in 4 weeks!! We will be traveling to Beijing on June 15th, spending 2 days there getting our body clocks adjusted, and on Monday the 19th we fly to Changsha in Hunan province, and we will be united with our sweet Olivia that same day! We'll spend about 4 or 5 days there and then return to Beijing to complete the rest of the paper work and return home on the 29th. It seems like it's taken forever to get to this point and now things are happening quite quickly. I have 2 very, very busy weeks of work left and hopefully will be able to get everything done in that time.
I feel like we've just begun another leg of "The Amazing Race - Paperwork Edition", but I know we'll win and the prize will be priceless.

YAY..congrats on your travel dates. I know you are anxious to get there. Enjoy your time in China. It is truly a wonderful place and becoming a parent to a sweet child is so worth all the months of paperwork and waiting. We travelled in November to meet our sweet girl Annslee in Hubei (a neighbor to Hunan) Safe Travels!
Yippee!!!! Wow, 4 weeks doesn't sound like much time at all!! Especially if you still have to work for the next 2 weeks. We'll miss each other by a few days, we're not actually leaving until the 29th/30th and we get back on July 14th. I'll be hounding your blog daily when you're gone and can't wait to read about Gotcha Day!!!!

Congrats Val on getting your travel dates, and like you said, you will be sooooooo busy the next few weeks that when it does come time to travel you will wonder where the heck the time went!!! Can't wait to see you with Olivia!!!!
